What this is
Whose Fault Is It is entertainment. You upload a WhatsApp 1:1 chat, and Jev — TypeSafe's classifier — returns a fault split about behavior in that file. It is not therapy, not a legal finding, and not a verdict about a named person. It judges this file, not the whole relationship.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and one of the two people in the chat. You agree not to post the other person's messages.
Price and refunds
A ruling costs $3.99 USD once per chat, charged through Stripe. Parsing and the three receipts are free. One checkout unlocks exactly one successful ruling. We refund automatically in two cases only: a safety refusal, or an unused unlock that expires 12 hours after payment. There is no refund for “too close to call,” for deciding it was you, or for uploading the wrong chat.
Safety
If Jev flags harm — physical violence, a threat, stalking, sexual content involving a minor, or someone intending to hurt themselves — there is no card and no ruling. You get a help page and an automatic refund.
The share card
The card carries the fault split, how sure Jev is, three receipts as numbers, and one line. No quotes, no real names. Anyone with the link can view it, free, for up to 90 days. Deleting it before then needs the one-time secret shown on your verdict page; a screenshot someone already took is out of our hands.
Your data
See the privacy policy. Jev is the judge. The chat is sent to TypeSafe to score, then we drop it. We don't keep the messages.
